Festive Bakes back on sale in Greggs for Christmas 2022 – Meaty and vegan versions of the Christmas dinner in a pasty are both available in this year’s Greggs Christmas range.
Greggs Christmas range – including two takes on the Festive Bake – is now on sale.
The Festive Bake, which is one of Greggs’ most popular seasonal items, launched for Christmas 2022 on Thursday November 10.
“Hands down the most Christmassy thing about Christmas. Made from a delicious crumb topped pastry, filled with pieces of cooked chicken, sage & onion stuffing and cooked sweetcure bacon, covered in a creamy sage & cranberry sauce,” is how Greggs describes the Festive Bake.
The vegan version swaps the chicken for Quorn mycoprotein and uses a plant-based vegan bacon crumb, encased in dairy-free pastry.
Also available in this year’s Christmas range are the pigs under blanket baguette and a Christmas lunch soup. The sweet range includes Christmas cake, shortbread and sweet buns. Further items will be added in December, including pigs in blanket sausages.
Greggs’ festive range is available in stores and online via its delivery partner, Just Eat.
Later this month, Greggs will host a ‘Festive Bake Brunch’ in Newcastle, complete with sharing platters, prosecco and cocktails.
