North Tyneside Restaurant Week Returns for 2024

North Tyneside Restaurant Week Set to Return for Second Year
North Tyneside Restaurant Week is set to return for its second year, running from October 7 to 13. With over 25 restaurants already signed up, this event celebrates the borough’s diverse culinary scene, offering diners the chance to explore new flavours and enjoy special deals.

Dame Norma Redfearn DBE, North Tyneside’s Elected Mayor, said: “We’re excited to bring back Restaurant Week for a second year. It’s a fantastic opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy our vibrant food scene while supporting local businesses. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the fantastic offers available.”

Following the success of last year’s event, this year promises even more excitement, with a range of unique dishes and great value offers at local restaurants. Whether trying something new or revisiting a favourite, diners are sure to find something to enjoy.

First to sign up with its Geordie-influenced British menu, was Hinnies in Whitley Bay. Owner Sam Hook said:

“We’re delighted that North Tyneside Restaurant Week is returning for another year.

“It’s a great way to support local businesses and for diners to enjoy a special offer.

“The area has so many great places for dining and Restaurant Week gives venues the opportunity to reach a wider market and showcase what they have to offer.”
