Teesside Airport Website Goes Live
A new website for the recently rebranded Teesside International AirportTeesside International AirportTeesside International Airport was launched on September 2nd. The custom-built website, which, amongst other things, will allow customers to pre-book car parking spaces, was designed in record time and to the delight of new operators Tees Valley Combined Authority and Stobart Aviation.
The previously named Durham Tees Valley Airport was brought under public ownership in January, after a £40million deal spearheaded by Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen. Since then, it has been a busy few months for the airport, which, alongside operator Stobart Aviation, recently announced new flights to Spain and the second season of flights to Bulgaria.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said: “In these days of digital connectivity, an easy-to-use, on-brand website is worth its weight in gold. This may very well be the first impression that many people across the world get of our new Teesside International Airport or, in fact, our whole region.
“In our ambitions to put local businesses first, Darlington-based Hush Digital is another company that is benefitting from the airport being brought back into public ownership, for the good of our residents and firms.”
